Our earthworks

  • Excavation

We dig for foundations, basements, swimming pools and walls, and load the soil that has to leave the site.

  • Levelling

We cut and fill to bring the ground to the level your project needs: to build, open up an access or lay a patio.

  • Trenching

We dig trenches for water, drainage, sewers and electricity, and backfill them once the services are laid.

Backhoe loader digging a trench along a line of poles, with a pipe waiting.
  • Compaction

We compact the ground in layers, with a roller or a plate compactor, so it can take what will be built on top.

Earthmoving for your site, with our machine and our operator. If your team only needs the machine, we hire it out too. Tell us the stage of the works and the deadline.

For private clients

Building a house, putting in a pool or opening up an access? You do not need to know which machine it takes: tell us what you want to do and the size of the plot.

What affects the price of earthworks

Every quote is prepared for the job in question. These are the points that weigh most.

Volume of soil
How many cubic metres there are to dig out or move.
Type of ground
Soil, gravelly ground or rock are not worked the same way.
Access
Whether the plot has room for a large excavator or needs a mini digger.
Where the soil goes
Whether it stays on the plot or has to be taken away.

Questions about earthworks

How much does it cost to level a plot?

It depends on the area, the slope, the type of ground and whether the soil stays on the plot or leaves it. With the location and a few photos we can prepare the quote.

What happens to the leftover soil?

Tell us in your request whether the soil can stay on the plot or has to go. It changes the job and the price, and it is written into the quote.

Do I need a licence to dig on my land?

It depends on the project and the municipality. Excavation and filling linked to a building are usually part of the project approved by the câmara municipal (town hall). If in doubt, check with the câmara before booking a date.

Do you take on small jobs?

Tell us what it is, even if it is just one trench or a small amount of filling. Give us rough measurements and we will reply with what can be done.
